A tweet worth keeping

@somebody · 2h

The best ideas always show up when you can’t save them. So we fixed that part.

Save to mymind

How it works

Three small steps.
One click per tweet.

  1. 01

    Install the extension

Download the ZIP from GitHub, unzip it, open chrome://extensions, turn on Developer mode, and click Load unpacked.

  2. 02

    Log in to mymind

Click the extension icon in your toolbar and sign in to mymind once. The save buttons appear on X as soon as you are connected.

  3. 03

    Save tweets as you scroll

Click the orange button next to share on any tweet. A small pill confirms it landed in your mind. That is the whole product.

Privacy

It saves tweets. That is all it does.

mymind for X has no account of its own, no dashboard, and no data to collect. It is a thin, transparent bridge between a tweet and your mymind — and the code is right there for you to check.

No servers of ours

Tweets go straight from your browser to mymind. There is no backend in between that we run.

No tracking

No analytics SDKs, no telemetry, no crash pipeline. The extension does not phone home.

One cookie, one purpose

It reads your mymind login cookie only to authenticate the save request to mymind — never stored, never sent elsewhere.

Open source

Every line is on GitHub under the MIT license. Read it, fork it, or audit it yourself.

FAQ

Questions, answered plainly.

What does mymind for X do?

It adds a small button next to the share button on every tweet. Click it and the tweet is saved straight to your mymind — no copying links, no switching tabs.

Is it free?

Yes. It is completely free and open source under the MIT license. There is no account to create with us, no subscription, and no upsell.

Do I need a mymind account?

Yes — you save tweets to your own mymind. Open the extension popup and log in once. If you are not signed in, the save buttons stay hidden until you are.

Is it official?

No. mymind for X is an unofficial, community-built extension and is not affiliated with mymind, Inc. It works by using mymind's own save flow, so it can change or break if mymind updates their extension.

What data does it collect?

None. There is no analytics, no server, and no tracking. The extension reads a single mymind login cookie purely to authenticate your save request to mymind, and nothing leaves your browser otherwise.
